Still Here” — A Documentary That Continues to Drive Change and Save Lives
Still Here, created in collaboration with AwareNow and in partnership with Accelerating Social Good, remains a powerful documentary with an urgent message: to spark change and bring hope to those living with severe mental illness.
Though released several years ago, its message is more relevant than ever. In a world filled with noise, too many continue to walk unheard and unseen—struggling with their mental health and slipping through the cracks of a system that too often fails them. For some, the weight of this struggle has been unbearable, leading to lives lost far too soon.
Still Here amplifies the voices of those who remain—the individuals and families carrying these stories, determined to be heard. The film calls on us not only to remember those we have lost, but to act now for those who are still here, so that hope and help are never out of reach.
As Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month reminds us, this documentary is both a tribute and a call to action: to acknowledge the urgent need for compassionate, effective care, to confront the realities of untreated severe mental illness, and to commit to saving lives.
Because there is still hope. And there are lives—still here.

The Sandy Pruett Project is in full swing!
Caregivers are sharing their experiences, raising their voices, and helping shine a light on the gaps in our mental health system. Your story matters—every experience submitted helps drive change.
The National Shattering Silence Coalition is proud to support this vital initiative. We encourage all advocates and caregivers to submit a brief account of their experience. It doesn’t need to be long or perfectly written—just honest. Even a few sentences can speak volumes.
Let’s break the silence—together.
